The ELTK® Foot Detox System uses the electrolysis of water to detoxify the body. This system uses an ionic “array” to raise the pH level of the water from an acidic state to a more alkaline state. By completing this process, the positive and negative ions are being pulled towards each other, which allows for the Detox process to begin. Salt is an essential part of this process since it is a conductor of the water.  Without the salt, the bath will produce electrolysis but will often not saturate with ionization.
